As an avid car lover, the 6×6 SUV and pickup truck trend has caught my attention. One company that has successfully entered this market is Apocalypse Manufacturing of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the company’s Gladiator 6×6, specifically the Hellfire edition, which was featured in a recent episode of “Jay Leno’s Garage.”

The Gladiator 6×6

Apocalypse Manufacturing offers a 6×6 version of the Jeep Gladiator, which comes in three different models. The Hellfire edition, which boasts the most storage space, features a steel bed cover with an angled roof design inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck. The vehicle’s size is massive, even dwarfing Jay Leno’s large garage, partly due to its 40-inch wheel option.

Options and Upgrades

The Gladiator 6×6 also offers various upgrades, including a thermal night vision camera, leather-lined cabin, and jet ski package. Customers can also choose from different engine options. The standard is a twin-turbocharged diesel that offers 460 lb-ft of torque. For those who want more power, the tuned LS3 6.2-liter V-8 delivers around 500 horsepower. The top-of-the-range engine option is the Hellcat 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 that produces a stock 707 horsepower.

The Success of Apocalypse Manufacturing

Apocalypse Manufacturing’s success has been growing rapidly, not only in the United States but also internationally. According to owner Joseph Ghattas, the company has received 79 orders for its 6×6 vehicles, with many coming from customers in the Middle East.

Pricing and Build Time

The pricing for the Gladiator 6×6 starts at $150,000 with the diesel engine, $175,000 with the LS3 engine, and at least $195,000 for the Hellcat engine. However, the build time for one of these vehicles is relatively short, at only three weeks.

The Gladiator 6×6 by Apocalypse Manufacturing is just one example of the growing trend of 6×6 SUVs and pickup trucks. The Hellfire edition, with its unique design and powerful engine options, is an impressive vehicle. As the company’s success continues to grow, we can expect to see even more unique and powerful 6×6 vehicles from Apocalypse Manufacturing in the future.
