We’ll end this story by reminding you that the ICE era is coming to an end for Dodge’s muscle vehicles, as the future of the Challenger, assuming it holds this nomenclature, is all-electric. Enthusiasts will have to overcome range anxiety, and if they do, they will get more power out of their muscle vehicles, at least in the top flavors and we wouldn’t be shocked if it produced more than certain blue-blooded outliers do today.

The Challenger SRT Hellcat is still available for purchase on the official website, with an MSRP of $70.835. Its turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 produces 717 hp (727 ps/535 kW) at 6,000 rpm and sends power to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Jailbreak and SRT Super Stock are rated at 797 and 807 hp (808-819 ps/595-602 kW), respectively, and start at $86,835 for the former and $88,745 for the latter.
